In 1983 Soluol made a major change to its sales and marketing effort by establishing its first US national distribution network and making a leap from a regional supplier of specialty products to one geared towards supplying the continent. We continued to broaden our market focus and expanded sales and service efforts into Europe in 1990, throughout Canada in 1993, and into Latin America in 1997.
As the turn of the century loomed Soluol recognized that Asia would play an increasing roll as a global supplier of products to our existing markets. Expanding our sales effort into Asia set the stage for our first venture into China in 1998, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and Korea followed in 2000. Strengthening our business in the Far East included signing agents in Taiwan (2001), and India, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam in 2003. Today, Soluol has direct agents and distributors in 25 countries around the globe.
